Hey, Hey!! Welcome Back!! In this blog, I want to have a bit of a chat with you and encourage you from a personal standpoint while also sharing a Word from the Lord. In this walk of life, that is, walking with Jesus Christ and committing to submit your body, mind, and soul as a vessel in which He can dwell and use, is not easy! You deal with; temptation, persecution, rejection, isolation, being outcasted from the church and sometimes the body of Christ.

A few years ago, I was studying Matthew chapter seven while on vacation. I noticed the bible mentioned to judge not, lest we also be judged with the same measure of judgment. However, the Bible also instructs us to judge righteously. As I was in study, I began to question why God would tell us not to judge while also teaching us to judge.
Roughly nine months ago I found a few lumps on my body. During this time, physically I had experienced tons to changes, from weight loss to skin breakouts, so I figured it was just seasonal or hormonal so it should pass. Several weeks and months continue to go by, and those lumps were still there.
Alright, ya’ll! This is an overdue post. So, grab your bibles, grab your journals, get some tea and let’s chat, and have a real heart to heart. As you read this post, I’ll be saying ‘us’ ‘we’ or the like, quite often mainly because I’m sitten’ here right with you going along this entire journey. Since we’re having a heart to heart, I want to be frank with you and give you the scoop about my sex life…. so, getcha tea girl!
In our last blog ‘Discovering God’s Love’ we discussed the topic of discovering God’s love from the perspective of a believer who’ve encountered someone that’s still in the process of searching for God’s love. Our topic included pointers on how to confidently assist those who are still in the ‘discovery’ phase of their journey. In this blog, we’ll cover
For many years God’s children, also known as the children of Israel have hurt God in some shape or form. They have turned away from His Word, will and served other gods. Time after time, God remained faithful, showed His love, mercy, grace and opened His heart to those who betrayed Him. But not without a cost.
Have you ever put your all into an assignment that was connected to your purpose? Or, how about a time where you worked tirelessly on a project that you were extremely passionate about? Now, imagine going full out on this desire only to meet a dead end. After months or even years of hard work, dedication, pursuit, and consistency, it all seems as if it were for nothing. It appears as if your hard work went unnoticed and your efforts yielded no results.
In the previous blog, Finding Endurance in your Single Season, I shared my testimony of enduring in my season. In this post, I’ll share with you three points that are sustaining me throughout my journey. However, before diving into my three points, let’s have a bit of a Word!
Matthew 6:33 says, “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” The Word of God explicitly tells us to seek first the kingdom of God. Often, what trips most believers is that they're after God for the substance. When seeking God for elements that are byproducts of Him, it turns God into the Say it with me, ‘I am SINGLE!’ Now breath. Being single is not a detriment, it’s a GIFT. “God Intentionally Formed Time.” ~ A. White It is my sincere pleasure to walk you through the process of 1. Finding endurance in your single season and 2. Understanding that your season is a Gift. Your gift is wrapped so preciously because God intentionally formed time to do so. To confidently walk you through this process, I must first tell my story. I will share my story as a testimony with hopes that it will empower and free you, so you can endure in this season.
-- I remember it like it were yesterday, it was the year 2014 when I finally committed my entire life back to Christ. It was the year of excitement and jubilee. It felt like a new birthing, a new beginning and a fresh start at life – it was. Just imagine, you’re inside of the Throne Room you hear a sweet but authoritative Voice, a Voice so powerful to shake you, yet gentle enough to calm you. This voice gives you the play by play moves concerning you and then tops it off with saying, “this is you before you were ever thought of." Next, He calls you His own and then commissions you because He trusts you. Yes, He has faith in you but wants to work on your trust in you and your trust in Him, so He tests you.
Child of Mine, what do you see? You tell Him Child of Mine, again, what do you see? You tell Him. You’ve been tested, tried and true, now, He’s ready to perform His Word. But wait… |
