Ladies, Men, we are in pressing times. We are approaching a new Spiritual year, year 5781. 2020-2021/5781 is the year of the ‘mouth.’ Therefore, it is very paramount and it is crucial that you are monitoring what you say, do, think, watch, and hear. This is the season where our spirit is highly sensitive, and we must be cognizant of what we come into agreement with

As my birthday is quickly approaching **Coughs** July 13, I can not help but reminisce about the time where I nearly had an anxiety attack. In the past, the moment the clock strikes June 1, I would feel sad and inadequate. I felt as if I was not where I ‘wanted’ to be. For me, I believed my life was moving too slow. As a result, from June 1 – July 13, I would panic. I could not believe I was getting older while staying stuck.
Have you ever found yourself asking God if He has forgotten you or even His children?
There is no reason, so feel ashamed; most of us have. We have all been placed in situations where it seemed as if we were dealt the lesser end of the deal. Many of us have experienced an unjust situation. These situations can leave us feeling burdened, abandoned, confused, hurt, mad, angry, and full of anguish, to name the least. All emotions are valid, and in the height of things, we tend to question God. ‘Lord, why did you allow this to happen?’ ‘Father, bring your vengeance?’ ‘God, Why me?’ ‘Lord, where are you?’ Just imagine, you’re inside of the Throne Room you hear a sweet but authoritative Voice, a Voice so powerful to shake you, yet gentle enough to calm you. This voice gives you the play by play moves concerning you and then tops it off with saying, “this is you before you were ever thought of." Next, He calls you His own and then commissions you because He trusts you. Yes, He has faith in you but wants to work on your trust in you and your trust in Him, so He tests you.
Child of Mine, what do you see? You tell Him Child of Mine, again, what do you see? You tell Him. You’ve been tested, tried and true, now, He’s ready to perform His Word. But wait… As of late, I’ve been meditating on Jeremiah 1:5. This is such a familiar verse and frequently quoted. However, just recently, my eyes caught something that settled within my soul, I would like to share such with you. The scripture of reference goes like this…
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” I could stop here, but I would like to take it a bit further with the next few verses as the young prophet Jeremiah and God shares a few more words. |
