Don't Loose Sight
Hey, Hey!! Welcome Back!! In this blog, I want to have a bit of a chat with you and encourage you from a personal standpoint while also sharing a Word from the Lord. In this walk of life, that is, walking with Jesus Christ and committing to submit your body, mind, and soul as a vessel in which He can dwell and use, is not easy! You deal with; temptation, persecution, rejection, isolation, being outcasted from the church and sometimes the body of Christ.
In this walk, you may even experience loss, sadness, confusion, and uncertainty of what’s next or uncertainty of what God is doing in your season. I’ve been there, I’ve experienced it all, and I thank God for it all.
At this point in time, I’m reminded of when Apostle Paul was exhorting and comforting the church at Corinth. Just like you, during this time, the church of Corinth was experiencing rejection, opposition, sin infiltrating the church and the like. Therefore, Paul sent a letter to the church, encouraging them to remain pure in the Lord, do everything in Love, and to continue to stir up their God-given gifts. At this point in time, this letter was and still is, vital.
There comes a moment where us believers may question God. We may question not because we have doubts of His existence (though this may be the case for some) but we question wondering when will it end? Will my struggles ever end? Will this persecution end? Will I continue to be rejected by my loved ones and peers? Will, I ever experience healing and restoration? We may even cry out ‘Lord I know you sent a Balm to my Gilead but where is HE? At times, you may even wonder why? Why am I not married? Why am I not ‘soaring’ in purpose? Why is it that those who don’t even like, let alone love You get the breakthroughs I’ve prayed for? God WHY?
And just like His response to the Church of Corinth, God is saying, hold on. Don’t give up the fight. I know you’ve been pressing and praying. I know you’ve been faithful and loving. I know you’ve been fasting and waiting. And I know it appears that I’ve forgotten about you. But I haven’t. I’ve seen your heart, I’ve seen your compassion, your strength and your determination to please Me and your desire to live by faith in spirit and in Truth. So, you must hold on.
It’s because you circumcised your heart that I want to use you. You’re pliable, so I’m going to stretch you. I’m going to stretch you, but you won't tear. You’re being formed and shaped into My image and into the purpose that I have sent for you. Wait a little while longer, and you’ll experience the Love that I’ve sent for you, the community that’ll welcome you and the healing that’s near to you. You are My Child, and I desire to do GOOD work in you. But just like it took me 6 days to form the world, it takes time to complete My Word.
I, The Lord, Your God have not forgotten, so don’t give up the fight. Hold on to your purity, your faith and continue to exercise your diligence in serving Me.
- Love God.
Dear Heavenly Father,
In Jesus’ name, I acknowledge that I have sinned. I ask that you forgive my sins and trespasses. Lord, I also ask that you help me acknowledge You in all that I do. Jesus, I ask that you come into my heart and be Lord over my life. Father, your Word in Romans 10:9-10 says, ‘that if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that YOU have raised Him from the dead, then I will be saved.’ So Father, with my mouth I confess and with my heart I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and that you raised Him from the dead so that I may live. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
Lastly, if you said this prayer and have dedicated your life to Christ (or back) by faith you are saved! I would love to hear from you and help keep you accountable in your journey. Click HERE to share the good news! 😊
