Tell me, I really want to know what’s in your hand? Look at it. What do you see? With the craze of social media and reality TV, everyone is fighting to find their identity, purpose and even gather the strength to know that they’re more than enough. This is a fight for owning your purpose. This fight is one of the biggest fights that you'll ever undergo! It's daunting, painful, embarrassing at times, frustrating and it even feels as if you're in a constant battle which you can't seem to grasp. But you must grit the game. I know you may feel a bit inadequate and unsure of what your life may entail in the next few years. I want to ensure you–your life is so purposeful. Knowing You’re More Than Enough, will give you the tools that are needed so that you too can own your purpose. These tools are not just any tools, they’re special tools. But these tools will require you to fight. One thing I know about fights is that should you win, you must get in the game and know what’s in your hand. What’s in your hand? We all know Moses, he was a phenomenal leader within the body of Christ. He was the forerunner of leading the children of Israel free from their captivity. However, Moses was just like you. Prior to his great story, he felt inadequate, useless, and incapable. I encourage you to read his story, it's found in Exodus chapter 3 & 4. (When you do, comment below, and tell me your thoughts. How can you relate?) One out of many phenomenal acts that God did through Moses, was asking Moses what was in his hand. A rod. Just like Moses, the Lord will have you examine your hands. Whatever you have in your hands, you must tell God and yourself what you have. If you look at your hands, you may only see your palm, a few birth-lines, perhaps a pen, or phone. It may look empty and as if you lack substance. If I can be honest, that’s the same way I felt. I figured, there’s nothing in my hands, I’m not holding anything. And surely, I don’t have a powerful rod...Or do I? If you’re thinking the same thoughts, I want you to examine carefully. When you do, you’ll see you’ve had the tools to your purpose all along. The moment, I looked carefully at my hands, I was able to determine that I have unshakeable, unmovable, unstoppable potential that resting in the palm of my hands. To the naked eyes, it looks like lack of substance, but to those who view themselves as a living rod, a tool that could be used by God, there's full untapped potential. Look at your hands, I see the same thing. I even see the tools right there in your hands waiting to be unleashed and used! Don’t believe me? Well, give me your hand, let me show you, I’ll go down the list of tools that I see. The tools are in your hand: Tool 1: Potential – Here’s a funny thing about potential – we all have it. But very few believe it. What is your potential – what is that one thing that you are okay, good, or great at? What is it? Do you know, that is the very thing laying in your hand? God is waiting for you to use it! Your potential is the key that unlocks the greatness that is oozing to come out of you. Tool 2: Confidence – Most of us struggle with a great deal of fear. The reason being is that once we've tapped into the level of confidence that only comes from knowing that in the eyes of God, You’re More Than Enough – you will own your potential and walk confidently in your purpose. I want to encourage you to get into the posture of confidence. I’m a strong advocate being this was my weak spot. Now, I’m still fighting to strengthen my confidence, but I’m no longer bound by the torments of fear. The moment you began to step into the posture of confidence will be when you are more than able to own your purpose, your flaws and take every obstacle by its horn and demolish the very thing that has you bound. Tool 3: Faith – Faith and confidence are two different things that are driven by the same factor, belief. Which I talk about in my new book. When it comes to faith, the smallest ounce will move mountains. Faith the size of a mustard seed. Your confidence in God and whom He created you to be will enhance your faith. Those mountains you've once viewed as giants will no longer appear huge. Your faith has the power and potential to move mountain and giants such as; fear, inadequacy, doubt, comparison, lack of resources, insufficient funds, torment and even lack of support – through your faith, those mountains will be moved! Keep in mind, that because a mountain has been moved, it does not mean it’s no longer there. Moving a mountain means that through your faith, you’ve had the power to push past those mountains and overcome them for the current level and season you currently are. I want you to ask yourself: Where is my faith level? Do I believe in God, as I proclaim? – Do my actions and thought process line up with what I believe in? Your faith is the catalyst to the fiber of your purpose. The vehicle that will steer you from thoughts of inadequacy. The motivator that will keep you pushing and believing in what you honor and know to be true. Your faith is what triggers your knowledge and self-perception. Tool 4: You’re more than enough – This last tool is knowing that You’re More Than Enough. I poured my heart into my very first book, and I encourage you to check it out. Knowing that you're more than enough is the foundation on which your purpose will stand on. It just so happens that your potential, your confidence, and your faith are the ingredients that will tie it all together. Each aspect of the said forth tools, is what’s going to prepare and equip you as you embark and sustain your purpose. To know more, Click here to read my new book which elaborates more on each tool.
