There’s something to be said about the faith we’re carrying. I say ‘we’ because I’m not exempt. In Fact, this blog is written mainly for me. If you just so happened, to relate than continue reading, and please do share. Faith, in my opinion, is the most overly used word, with no real understanding nor depth to back its definition. We as believers should analyze the true meaning of faith and apply it to our lives, action, language and even our thought process. The moment we allow the true definition and power of faith to resonate within our soul will be the moment when we're no longer bound by circumstantial evidence. In ministry, I have the passion and privilege to walk this thing called ‘faith' out all while encouraging others to live a life full of faith. Therefore, I would like to spend a few moments breaking down the meaning and the power of such a word. -- Faith, according to Dictionary.com is:
Faith, according to Hebrews 11:1 NKJV: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Other versions of this verse replace ‘substance' with assurance, substantiating, well-grounded assurance, guarantee, make real things, realization, the confirmation, the title deed…. -- Of all variations of the word ‘substance’ the main one that stands out is title deed. The title deed is a deed or document containing or constituting evidence of ownership. The faith that you possess is the constitutional document, posture, spirit, and mind-frame that proves ownership and legal rights to the Father and His Heavenly Kingdom. Your level of faith dictates your ability to fully and adequately comprehend, what is legally yours by birthright of being born again by the blood of Jesus Christ. In other words: Your faith is what makes God move. Your faith is what pleases the Father. Your faith is what connects you to the promises and mandates that are over your life. Your faith is not only going to move mountains but destroy those mountains. In Mark 9:23 Jesus tells us ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Your faith is connected and tied to your belief. This faith-based belief is what produces the very thing you are hoping for. Your faith is the catalyst of all things possible. Therefore, in the next few blogs, my purpose is to strengthen your perception of faith. After all, the measure of your faith produces… Tune into the next blogs where I break down the various avenues that faith produces.
